The Miguel Cotto - Manny Pacquiao fight generated a massive 1.25M PPV buys. Most expected the fight to be huge and the numbers have now reinforced that. Floyd Mayweather recently did 1M buys against Juan Manuel Marquez and now looks primed for a shot at the pound for pound king. The fight between the two should be huge at the box office.
Mayweather's father recently said he suspected Pacquiao of taking steroids. Of course, with no evidence to back up such a claim and the fact that Manny is constantly tested and hesitant to even take vitamins it's probably all just chatter to help start the hype for the mega fight.
Pacquio seems to be much better at his more natural weight of just under welterweight. His power hasn't diminished significantly although it has a bit in my opinion and he is just as ferociously determined to attack for a knockout. Anyways, let the hype, trash talk and all the rest that makes for a good promotion begin!
